PlaneLog.com Summary

Planelog is a web-based system for keeping required logbooks entries for both aircraft and pilots.

Planelog.com is the digital equivalent of the standard aircraft logbook and so much more. There is an airframe, engine, avionics, and prop log. It allows aircraft users to retrieve the aircraft logbooks anywhere the Internet is available. The system will allow a user to archive an aircraft's logbooks. The system will enhance the safety of an aircraft by insuring that all required maintenance is performed. It also minimizes the issue of lost logs, since the logs are archived, log history can be printed out and the history reestablished. Once an entry has been entered, it is not possible to erase or change an entry. If an error or a correction has been made to the entry, the entry is modified and the Log entry is highlighted in red to indicate that the original entry is modified. It is then possible to review the original entry and the modified entry.

Security

The most trusted software and hardware currently available in the market will provide back up and security. This aspect of the business will be continually monitored and updated as necessary to insure the integrity of the system and the privacy of our members. Back-ups will include routine hard drive as well as permanent storage back ups.

Fee Based Service

There will be an initial set up charge and a yearly maintenance/access/storage charge. The aircraft owner will input all data. A premium service where the data will be inputted by PlaneLog.com staff will be available for an additional fee.
